Blue is a hacker and she is good as shit. She had to go underground and works with a new identity in the noodle box at Hermannplatz. But then the obscure Billie disappears and Blue is faced with a difficult decision.

Marion ist Prepperin: Sie nimmt es selbst in die Hand, ihr Leben und überlebenswichtiges Eigentum zu schützen. Als ihre große Liebe Billie verschwindet, verfolgt sie mit Blue und Akira einen Plan, geht dabei aber einen rücksichtslosen Deal mit Bird ein. Kann das gut gehen?

Marion is a prepper: she takes it into her own hands to protect her life and property. When the love of her life, Billie, disappears, she pursues a plan with Blue and Akira, but makes a ruthless deal with Bird. Can this go well?

Akira

Akira lebt in ihrem alten Van in den Straßen Berlins und schlägt sich so durch. Sie ist hoffnungslos in Blue verliebt, und obwohl sie von der Expedition in den Riss alles andere als überzeugt ist, lässt sie sich dazu überreden – wird sie das bereuen?

Akira lives in her old van on the streets of Berlin and makes ends meet. She's hopelessly in love with Blue, and although she's far from convinced about the expedition into the Rift, she lets herself be talked into it - will she regret it?

Ehemals Angestellter beim Verfassungsschutz, dem militärischen Abschirmdienst, oder einfach nur in der Kantine der Bundeswehr – niemand weiß das so genau. Und eigentlich will ihn auch Niemand dabeihaben, verbindet ihn doch eine dunkle Vergangenheit mit Blue. Aber ausgerechnet Bird verfügt über Informationen, die für die Suche nach Billie unverzichtbar sind. Wer denkt, man könnte Bird entkommen, kennt ihn schlecht – oder?

Formerly an employee of the Office for the Protection of the Constitution, the Military Counter-Intelligence Service, or simply in the canteen of the German Armed Forces - no one knows for sure. And no one really wants him to be there, since he has a dark past with Blue. But Bird, of all people, has information that is indispensable for the search for Billie. If you think you can escape Bird, you don't know him very well - do you?

Die mysteriöse Billie wird von der Musikerin und Performerin Tommi Tokyo gespielt, deren Musik im Film gleichzeitig eines der stilbildenden Elemente ist. Ihr retrofuturistischer Elektro-Punk-Sound verbindet die subversive Atmosphäre der Wende-Zeit Berlins mit der internationalen Club-Kultur des 21. Jahrhunderts, die während der Corona-Pandemie zum Erliegen gekommen ist. Eines Tages ghostet sie plötzlich Marion und verschwindet. Aber warum und wohin? Ihre Spur führt tief im Riss zu einem Geheimnis…

The mysterious Billie is played by musician and performer Tommi Tokyo aka Tot Onyx, whose soundtrack in the film is also one of the stylistic elements. Her retrofuturistic electro-punk sound combines the subversive atmosphere of Berlin's Wende era with the international club culture of the 21st century, which came to a standstill during the Corona pandemic. One day she suddenly ghosted Marion and disappeared. But why and where to? Her trail leads deep in the crack to a mystery...

Nur verrückte Stadtbewohnerin oder ein modernes Orakel? Zumindest weiß sie mehr als die meisten ahnen. Aber wer glaubt schon einer Verrückten, mag sie noch so weise sein. Nur Blue hört ihr geduldig zu.

Just a crazy city dweller or a modern oracle? At least she knows more than most people suspect. But who believes a crazy woman, no matter how wise she may be. Only Blue listens to her patiently.

Kato und Crazy

Kato und Crazy, genannt Karte und Gebiet, sind ein sonderbares Pärchen, das sich im Riss ein Zuhause eingerichtet hat. Sie denken über die Zukunft nach, während sie in der Gegenwart schon beinahe unsichtbar geworden sind.

Kato and Crazy, called Map and Territory, are an odd couple who have made a home in the rift. They think about the future, while in the present they have become almost invisible.

Die Neue

Die Neue löst Blue in der Nudelbox am Hermannplatz ab, nachdem diese in den Riss gegangen ist. Aber wird die Neue die Prophezeiungen der Obdachlosen verstehen – oder muss die Geschichte weiter gehen?

The New One replaces Blue in the noodle box at Hermannplatz after she went into the rift. But will the New One understand the prophecies of the homeless - or must the story continue?
